The Hilton Neighborhood Association will celebrate Black History Month by viewing  the fascinating DVD  "Shared History,"  The meeting will be held on Thursday, February 16th at 7:30 PM in DeHart Community Center, 120 Burnett Avenue, Maplewood.  The documentary tells the story of the descendants of slaves and slave owners on the Woodlands Plantation in South Carolina.  While independently researching their families' histories, three contemporary descendants,  meet and begin to uncover the mythologies about the 260-year-old relationship. One of the researchers, Rhonda Kearse, longtime HNA member,  will be present to introduce the video and answer questions at its conclusion.  This meeting is free and open to the public.  Everyone is welcome.  Refreshments will be served.  For more information, please contact 973-761-4672 or cabms@aol.com.
