The Township Committee rescinded the $2.85M bond ordinance that was intended to install 2 artificial turf fields in DeHart Park.  Because this ordinance was rescinded, there is no mandate for a town wide referendum regarding this particular bond issue.
However, the Township Committee will introduce a new bond ordinance for the purpose of installing artificial turf in DeHart Park at its meeting tomorrow night, Tuesday May 6.   This new ordinance will be voted on at their meeting Tuesday, May 20th.  The new ordinance reduces the cost to $2.35M and includes one synthetic turf field instead of two.
