2015 Conversations on Race: Facing Everyday Racism

We welcome Professor Michael Jeffries, author of Paint the White House Black: Barack Obama & the Meaning of Race in America to lead our community discussion of unintentional expressions of bias and prejudice. This year’s forum will help us all come to terms with daily experiences of bias and stereotyping that are more subtle than the language of traditional, overt racism.

Planning Ahead: Workshop for Middle School Parents

Planning Ahead is a workshop developed and presented by parents for the benefit of parents of middle school students. The workshop teaches parents how to read the Course Offerings Guide, how to plan backwards, and offers proven strategies for early college planning. We also discuss how to manage the complications of sports and learning disability.
