Khalil Gibran Muhammad on Facing Our Racial Past

South Orange resident Dr. Khalil Gibran Muhammad is the author of The Condemnation of Blackness and is the director of the New York Public Library’s Schomburg Center.  He has generously given the Coalition on Race his time and insight at two of our events this year, as keynote speaker at the annual Martin Luther King Observance and as a speaker with Barbara Heisler at Conversations on Race.
